    Dear Reader, (Feb 10, 2010)

India tells him, Don’t You Ever Come Around Here
Don’t Wanna See Your Face, You Better Disappear
The Fire’s In our Eyes And our Words Are Really Clear
So Bt It, Just Bt It
India has seen off Monsanto’s genetically modified Brinjal for now. The main selling plank of Bt Brinjal is that it requires less fertilizers and pesticides. The Organic farming methods like vermiculture are much better alternatives. But the Chemicals & Fertilizers lobby is strong …..

( May Michael Jackson’s soul Rest In Peace)

    Dear Reader (Feb 9, 2010)

    Dear  Reader,
The student of the NID probably had some designs in mind while approaching the former DGP with a knife. One need not be a designer or a top notch police man to infer what the motive could have been. He wanted to carve a new identity for the man responsible for destroying Ruchika Girhotra’s. The Law had already decided that the ex-policeman’s actions were morally Rathore unsound. But the sentence may not have seemed enough. Believe he had just about started when the cops caught him.  Many artists’ hands get tied by circumstances and society’s rules. While Rathore’s wounds may heal, the Girhotra family’s may never. One only hopes the Scare is on all such errant cops.

Cool Chilli says, Beer from barley bolsters bones. Drink and bear it.

The silica in barley  helps strengthen bones and bone tissue. The beer made from barley retains enough silica to improve bone health and decrease the effects of osteoporosis.

Iran’s decision to enrich its Uranium to 20% level has attracted public debate in the West particularly the US.  The US and its Allies have started speaking of sanctions. Even sections of the Russian officialdom have joined in. China alone among the Big Five has resisted comments.
