suggest you take help of Oceanographic Scientists too. For example, One of the old epics of Humanity, the Mahabharata mentions an island (Dwaraka)off the western coast of India which was swallowed by the sea. This was considered just another fragment of Indian folklore/legend until a few years back, Indian Oceanographic scientists actually located the site and their studies actually proved the existence of an old flourishing island state.
